Since 14 May 2011, this idea originated in my mind, and has has occupied my mind, as we see the rise in violence across the globe. Each one of us has a right to survive and therefore innovation in security products is the dire necessity of the day.

Solar power for homes: plenty of innovation possible

Most solar panels have same/similar physical appearance. The surface area exposed to sun rays is limited. There exists great potential to innovate the physical structure of the panel to make it more efficient.
Innovations have to be simple enough for a scientist's mind to be triggered. I believe that innovation driven by simplicity will drive future advances in technology.
The need is to think differently, and imbibe this into the minds of the next generation.
There will always be the necessity to extract more power per unit area of the panels. It is as simple as that.

Happy to be a winner at the Composites App Challenge 2011

For me, it was indeed a pleasure to participate in, and win the idea category USD 20,000 cash award announced on Feb 3, 2011
It took 3-4 months to evolve the idea and give it a concrete shape. There exists a very good potential to introduce composites in many applications. It does help conserve precious natural resources and reduce greenhouse emissions. The spirit of innovation continues
