Charging takes long and the battery drains a bit too soon. In less than one year, the battery appears weak and one feels like replacing (at a high cost).
An amazing idea just propped in my mind. If we change the direction of research, we can establish at least one very interesting technique to charge battery. It is a radical shift from what the experts are doing the world over. I have also thought a very simple name for this technique.

The world seems fixated on aircraft design. Turbines pushing air backwards, wheels designed for safe landing on <u>runways</u>. The conventional design needs long runways that are expensive to acquire, develop and maintain. Passenger risk is higher with conventional design, and people are praying to God while landing.<br />
Think out of the box, to design a commercial aircraft that can land vertically down (aircraft remaining horizontal during landing) with well controlled descent using some unconventonal techniques that I can imagine.<br />
This is a global design challenge !<br />

Most solar panels have same/similar physical appearance. The surface area exposed to sun rays is limited. There exists great potential to innovate the physical structure of the panel to make it more efficient.<br />
Innovations have to be simple enough for a scientist's mind to be triggered. I believe that innovation driven by simplicity will drive future advances in technology.<br />
The need is to think differently, and imbibe this into the minds of the next generation.<br />
There will always be the necessity to extract more power per unit area of the panels. Untill now, almost all the domestic solutions available, to my knowledge, are designed to repell mosquitos. This is actually not doing anything to eliminate them. The spray of disinfectants by municipalities actually harm humans more, and prepare mosquitoes to evolve stronger to survive.<br />
I have been thinking why should we not think away from convention and design something that will actually attract and kill mosquitoes, similar to the fly & insect killer devices. This way we can make sure, the mosquitoes do not go back to the breeding grounds. The device can have something similar to a human organ (hand) with blood like fluid inside. I have had some business interest in the wind turbines, and hence came across this funny fact.<br />
A good turbine cannot tap more than 30-40 % of the available wind. What a poor, inefficient design!! Please come out of the term "turbine" and try to imagine a radical new design to increase the capacity to tap the available energy.
