Idea on wind turbine design

Hi,
I have had some business interest in the wind turbines, and hence came across this funny fact.
A good turbine cannot tap more than 30-40 % of the available wind. What a poor, inefficient design!! Please come out of the term "turbine" and try to imagine a radical new design to increase the capacity to tap the available energy. To me, it is possible to make a remarkably efficient wind tapping device. I do have the idea. For further details, please contact me
Best wishes

Hi. I'd be interested in learning and commenting on your wind turbine design. I am currently researching turbine designs with the view to manufacturing in the near future.

Hi,
thanks for your comment.
Nice to know about your work.
You will kindly appreciate that I would not like to disclose the details of my idea as it is 100% original, and extremely radical.
All I can tell you is that it is devoid of any rotor, or blades (horizontal, or vertical axis) which you see in the traditional/conventional design.
My design will significantly increase the energy efficiency of the device by tapping at least 60 % of the incident wind energy. Maybe, more !
I am keen to sell it to deserving genuine company/ies or individual/s.
Regards
gdutt

Its gonna be real tough to sell if no one knows what it is. At some point you will have to tell the "deserving genuine company/ies or individual/s" what you've got. If you have a patent you have only a little to worry about. If you don't you can only hope for fair treatment. No one is going to give you money based on your assertion that you have a radical new idea. You've been peddling this idea for over a year. How long you gonna sit on it? catchusifu

You need to do a lot of research about marketing yourself and your ideas. Hint: look at existing websites, such as AAER, Vestas, and Suzlon. It's possible that you find their turbines inefficient, but they have an excellent business model and are prosperous companies. If your idea is so revolutionary, then why aren't you ramping up a prototype?

Hi Allen,
thanks for your suggestion. I am working on a prototype and will upodate on this premise

Hi. I'm very interested in finding out more info. Can I suggest that you set up a LinkedIn account and join the Wind Energy groups. I would like to connect with you be couldn't find an email address for you on the sites that I found you on.

Hope to see you there.

Hello Mr. Dutt,

Your revolutionary ideas about wind machines harnessing more than 60% of wind energy will almost falsify the Carnot engine principles and most of the thermodynamics principle will also change. However, I feel that any new ideas can not be ruled out just because it is not in tune with the current knowledge. Infact, sometimes technology can be smartly improved based on the same scietific principles.

Good Luck for your project

We also have a next generation wind energy design technology series, (NGWED) which is precommercialization. we have lots of business for it, less expensive, more efficient than traditional. Interested in serious stakeholders to manufacture, etc. JayR sannerwind@gmail.com

You heard about the Tu Deltf. They are working at some sort of kyte at high altitudes to harness the power. I believe they want to go as high as the jet-stream since there is a constant flow.

My company has a suite of Next Generation Wind Energy designs, which are able to greatly reduce the cost / kWh produced by wind. It does not use exotic designs, e.g., kites etc., The costs are nominal and the program is scalable. The economics should enable a small production operation to fund larger and larger operations. Its not just the technology. Its all USA conceived and producable. JR CEO Sannerwind@gmail.com
